ART BRINGS US TOGETHER
Krasl’s mission is to inspire meaningful change and strengthen community through the visual arts. Partnerships extend art experiences into schools, libraries, community organizations, and other shared spaces.
SCHOOLS & YOUNG PEOPLE
Art Experience School Tours combine a gallery tour with a studio project. Tour scholarships and transportation support are available; contact Krasl about current options.
Krasl also partners with the Benton Harbor Boys & Girls Club Teen Center and with the Box Factory for the Arts and Berrien RESA on student art exhibitions.
ART IN COMMUNITY SPACES
Art Fundles are free make-and-take art packets distributed at Krasl, the Benton Harbor Public Library, and partner organizations based on need and request.
Art Angels brings hands-on art activities to residents at Pine Ridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Art & Wellness Pop-Up offers arts-based activities in partner libraries, learning centers, and medical facilities.
Krasl’s MI-APPP partnership offers art experiences for young parents and their children through the Berrien County Health Department’s parenting support program.
CREATIVE TIME FOR FAMILIES
Family Days and Family Nights offer free art activities at Krasl and the Benton Harbor Public Library.
ArtPlay Workshops, offered by the Berrien County Cancer Service, provide no-cost art experiences at Krasl for Berrien County children and families affected by cancer. Contact the partner organization for current workshop details.
