DESCRIPTION:SATURDAY\, OCTOBER 6: 10 AM-4 PM\nSUNDAY\, OCTOBER 7: 10 AM-1 PM\nTUITION: $105/$120 \nWorking through an average of 18\,000 pounds of clay each year\, Mark Chatterley has found himself transformed from a successful utilitarian potter to an internationally recognized ceramic sculptor. Mark’s larger-than-life figures have been featured at SOFA Chicago\, the Grand Rapids Art Museum\, and the Krasl Art Center among many others.  \nExperience Chatterley’s creative process\, beginning with a guided meditation to find personal images that will then be transformed into personalized clay sculptures. Students will also have a chance to learn about Mark’s work and his influences through brief slideshow presentations.

DESCRIPTION:The Krasl Art Center is thrilled to participate again in the Southwest Michigan Mini Maker Faire!  In collaboration with Berrien RESA\, KAC students and teaching artists will create large-scale woodcuts printed with a steamroller!  Learn about the fascinating process of relief printmaking as you watch artists ink up their woodblocks\, align their paper\, and get steamrolled!  Young spectators will also have an opportunity to try printmaking on a smaller scale.
